A 38-year-old man has been abducted by gunmen in Kiyawa local government area of Jigawa State, the Police have said.
Spokesperson of the state Police Command, Lawan Shiisu, said Lawan Zakari, was abducted at his residence at Dankoli quarters, on July 17.
“The suspects demanded for N60 million from him whereas it was N60,000 that was brought to him on a fateful night by his boy.”
“The suspects ransacked the whole house, seized the phone of the victim and those of his wives.”
He said efforts were ongoing to rescue the victim, as well as arrest the suspects.
