At least 13 were killed on Thursday when Bandits invaded Tara village in Sabon Birni local government area of Sokoto state.
The attack came hours after bandits attacked Saketa-Dingyadi, killing one person and abducting another early Thursday morning.
21st Century Chronicle learnt that the gunmen attacked Tara village at about 11pm on Thursday.
Seven persons sustained gunshot injuries during the attack and have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
The spokesperson, Sokoto State Police Command confirmed the incident, but said he had scanty information about the incident.
21st Century Chronicle learnt that this was not the first bandits attack in Tara village.
A resident of the village told 21st Century Chronicle that the village was attacked twice in January. He said the attacks were not fatal, but the bandits carted away several livestock.
