Suspected bandits have killed three persons and sbuducted five others in a fresh attack in Sokoto state.
The bandits were said to have attacked Sakkwai village in Tangaza local government area of Sokoto state.
A resident of Tangaza who confirmed the attack identified the residents killed as Jummai Musa, Abba Malam Garba and Dan-umaru Sule.
He said the bandits invaded the village around 8:30 pm on Saturday and started shooting sporadically.
According to him, the abducted persons include, idris Danmanu, Auwalu Noma, Basiru Abba, Isma,ila Ibrahim and Usman Shehu village
The bandits also rustled over 100 cows, sheep and camels.
