Regional Manager of the Sokoto Rima River Basin Development Authority (SRRBDA), Labaran Muhammed Dandume, has been abducted by bandits in Dutsin-ma, Katsina state.
The state’s police spokesperson, Gambo Isah, confirmed the incident.
He said he was yet to received details about the incident.
However, a source in the area told 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE that Dandume was taken away by the assailants at about 12am on Friday at his residence inside the agency’s staff quarters in Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State.
He said the gunmen forced him into their vehicle and whisked him away.
The source said the incident has been reported at the Dutsin-ma Police Division, and they were awaiting police response.
