Bandits have killed at least 13 persons in different communities across the eastern parts of Sokoto state on Monday.
They also injured several others and abducted over 70 persons, including women and children.
According to our findings, 11 persons were killed in three communities across Sabon Birni local government area in addition to two killed in Goronyo local government of the state.
Confirming the Attack, a member representing Sabon Birni South, Aminu Boza said the attackers also abducted several persons in the communities.
The Chairman of Goronyo local government area, Abdulwahab Bello Goronyo while confirming the attack on two of their communities said two persons were killed and 23 others abducted.
It was also reported that several persons were abducted in Gada local government area after bandits attacked some of its communities.
