A former presidential candidate of Advanced People’s Democratic Alliance (APDA), Alhaji Mohammed Shittu, in the 2019 general elections has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)
APDA have since been deregistered by the Independent \National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Shittu registered at his Gwagwa Ward in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja and called for a two-party system in the country.
“From today, we are joining to build a strong political party that will build a strong economy and a peaceful country,” he said.
