Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka should face his work as a religious cleric instead of speaking like a politician.
Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Yekini Nabena, made the call Friday in Abuja, saying Mbaka should stop making statements that could cause instability in the country.
Father Mbaka Thursday asked the National Assembly to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari if he does not resign for failing to tackle mounting security challenges facing the country.
The party advised Father Mbaka to emulate other men of God such as Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God [RCCG] and Pastor W F Kumuyi of Deeper Life Bible Ministry, whom the APC said fast and pray to avert crisis in the country instead of threatening the government of the day.
APC warned Mbaka that if he does not desist from involving himself in politics, they would expose him to the Pope, adding that “Father Mbaka should not, however, take his luck too far because there is a lot to tell the Vatican and the Pope about his person and his sources of inspiration.”
Mbaka had called on President Buhari to either resign or be impeached because of the current challenges is ungodly.
