The All Progressives Congress (APC) has challenged the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to prove its allegations with facts that President Muhammadu Buhari regime is the most corrupt.
National Secretary of the caretaker committee, John Akpan Udoedehe, who threw the challenge at the PDP on Wednesday, said the president is steadfast in his anti-corruption crusade,
The APC was reacting to the PDP’s branding of the APC administration as the most corrupt government in Nigeria, saying the opposition has laboured to canvass tales of a phantom stolen N15 trillion public funds.
He said the PDP was into petroleum subsidy rackets, unexecuted electricity, road and arms contracts, misappropriation and diversion of public funds.
The APC said it has checked corruption with the implementation of Treasury Single Account, Biometric Verification Number (BVN) and the whistleblowing policy.
