The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu, has called on aggrieved members of the party to put aside their grievances in the march towards 2023 general elections.
He spoke at the party’s special convention of the party on Tuesday.
He said the party can only achieve it’s aspiration of retaining the presidency if all members embrace peace.
The former governor of Nasarawa State also noted that the outcome of the convention will determine its electoral victory in 2023.
He said,“We cannot afford to make our choice out of sentiment or primordial considerations. That will impose on us a wrong choice we might live to regret.
“Many have been called to this forum, but only one man or woman will get the party’s endorsement.
“This convention is authorised both by party constitution and the extant laws of our great party.”
