The All Progressives Congress (APC) has offered more time for the sale and submission of expression of interest and nomination forms for aspirants ahead of the 2027 elections.
The party ‘s spokesperson, Felix Morka, announced this on Monday, saying the extension goes to Wednesday, May 6.
The party said the deadline for submission of completed forms is now midnight on Thursday, May 7, adding that the screening of aspirants will take place from Friday, May 8, to Tuesday, May 12.
The APC had on April 20, released its timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 general election, fixing May 15 and 16 for its presidential primary.
The timetable fixed the House of Representatives primary on May 18, the Senate primary May 20, state Houses of Assembly primaries for May 21, and governorship primaries for May 23.
