Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano and his wife Ebelechukwu have cast their votes at ERI primary school at Polling Unit 004, Otuocha Ward Ward 1, Aguleri in Anambra East LGA.
Also, the Bishop, Diocese on the Niger, Rt Rev. Owen Nwokolo voted alongside his wife at All Saints Primary School Ward I Onitsha North LGA.
The Governor said the process was so far peaceful, orderly and transparent.
He called on registered voters to come out and exercise their franchise by electing the governor of their choice.
He hailed the security operatives for displaying professionalism so far during the exercise.
He said there were no reports of any of crisis so far, while expressing optimism that the exercise would be free, fair and peaceful in the end.
Also, the Bishop described the exercise in the area as peaceful and orderly.
He called on those who are yet to vote to come out and do so, noting that there is nothing to fear.
