Anambra election: Soludo wins all a and candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chukwuma Soludo, has emerged victorious in the results for all 21 local government areas in Saturday’s governorship election.
Following the conclusion of voting in the election on Saturday, all polling officers have completed the announcement of results from the 5,718 polling units across the state’s 21 local government areas.
The announcement of results began around midnight on Sunday and continued until 6 a.m., under the supervision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Returning Officer and Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin, Prof. Edogah Omoregie, along with other INEC officials, party agents, and journalists.
From the results announced, Soludo emerged victorious in all 21 local government areas in a landslide.
The winner of the election has, however, not yet been officially declared.
With the final results from all 21 LGAs, APGA secured 422,664 votes, followed by the All Progressives Congress with 99,445 votes, the Labour Party with 10,505 votes, and the Peoples Democratic Party with 1,401 votes.
