The 500-level student of the Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State, Aminu Muhammad Adamu, has apologised for critising the First Lady, Aisha Buhari.
23-year-old Adamu was arrested, tortured, arraigned and remanded before he was released on Friday night after Mrs Buhari withdrew the case against him.
He was flown to Kano on Saturday in an aircraft. And subsequently returned to school in Dutse.
The embattled student, in his first tweet, apologized and thanked the First Lady.
In a tweet on his handle on Saturday, he said, “I would like to use this medium to express my sincere apologies to those I’ve hurt especially our mother, Aisha Buhari. It was never my intention to hurt your feelings and insha Allah I will change for the better. However, I’m also grateful for your forgiveness, thank u mama😊🤝.”
