Hajiya Naja’atu Muhammed has said that First Lady Aisha Buhari is one of the cabals in the Presidential Villa.
Naja’atu Mohammed was a former Director of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council.
She disclosed this on Arise TV’s The Morning Show, on Monday.
Her remark is coming after those of Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State All Progressives Congress presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who said there exist some elements working against Tinubu.
It would be recalled that the Kaduna State governor had on Wednesday, last week accused some “elements” in the Presidential Villa of working against Tinubu.
Tinubu himself has earlier alleged that the Naira redesign and exchange of old notes with new ones and the petrol scarcity were plots to fail him in the forthcoming elections, adding that the twin naira and fuel scarcity were meant to incite violence that would lead to the postponement of the general elections.
On Arise TV, Mohammed who defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said, “… let me tell you who one of the cabals is today, it’s Aisha Buhari, Aisha Buhari that is talking today is part of the cabal. Yes, we knew the cabal of Abba Kyari, Mamman Daura of late, that she couldn’t even come out to say. When she started talking about the Cabal, she glossed over it. She didn’t have the guts to come out and name names. I named names. For the first time in Nigeria, I started to name names.”
“She (Aisha) reinforced what El-Rufai said. El-Rufai said ‘the cabals in the villa’, she confirmed it. She is also part of the cabals. I am trained not to say the details. We are trained to leave names. You have to have the guts to give names.”
