Gunmen have attacked communities in Shiroro local government area of Niger State.
This is coming a few hours after bandits abducted 52 people at the Government Science College, Kagara in Niger state.
The villages affected in the recent are: Sarkin Zama, Bakin Kogi (Lagbe), Siyiko, and other adjoining villages.
The villages were invaded by the bandits Wednesday evening, a resident of Shiroro, Sani Kokki, disclosed this to journalists on Thursday.
He said the operation lasted for hours and recorded some casualties, which he said he could not ascertain how many.
“Some died while others who sustained various degrees of gunshot injuries were rushed to various health facilities for medical attention,” Kokki said.
