Ghana ended African Cup of Nations in humiliation as they suffered a 3-2 stunning defeat to debutant Comoros.
Ben Nabouhane put Comoros ahead before Ayew was shown a straight red card as Ghana were down to 10 men.
Ahmed Mogni then doubled the lead before the Black Stars fought back to make it 2-2.
Mogni inflict the damage on Ghana when he tapped in his second in the 85th minute.
In the other game in the group, Morocco drew 2-2 with Gabon as both teams progress to the round of 16.
