The Adamawa Gubernatorial Candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Aishatu Binani, has distributed 70 vehicles to various groups, unions and clubs across the state.
Distributing the vehicles on Monday in Yola, Binani said they were part of the dividends of democracy under the government of APC in addition to the interventions in education, health, agriculture and other empowerment programmes, among others.
“Today we are here for the distribution of 70 vehicles for various groups, unions, associations and football clubs.
“This is part of the dividends of democracy we are providing for our people under the APC-led administration as Senator representing Adamawa Central,’’ she said.
Binani called on the beneficiaries to make judicious utilization of the vehicles for running their day-to-day activities successful.
According to her, the vehicles are procured and safe kept for the electioneering campaign.
Mr Samaila Tadawus, the state APC Chairman, congratulated the beneficiaries and advised them to make judicious use of the vehicles.
He called on the people to vote for APC candidates for more dividends of democracy in the state and the county at large.
A cross section of the beneficiaries appreciated Binani for the gesture and assured of judicious utilisation of the vehicles.
They also prayed to God to continue to bless the donor and to emerge governor of the state come March 11 elections.
The beneficiaries include faith based organisations, Adamawa United Football Club, Adamawa Queens, Traders Union, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Churches and Adamawa Film Producers Association.
