At least four persons have been kidnapped in Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, including the traditional ruler of Bukpe community, Alhaji Hassan Shamidozhi.
Witnesses said the traditional ruler and others were abducted on Wednesday evening.
This abduction was confirmed by the spokesperson of Kwali Area Council Secretariat, Emmanuel Habila, on Thursday.
Habila said the police and operatives of the Department of State Service (DSS) are on the trail of the kidnappers.
There is no official comment from the spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, Adeh Josephine.
