Alhaji Abba Umar Jato has been appointed as the new Shehu of Dikwa by Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum.
The appointment of the first class emir was announced by Borno state government on Sunday.
Jato succeeds the late Shehu, Mohammed Ibn Shehu Masta II El-Kanemi, who died in Abuja last week.
