The Edo State Chief Judge, Justice Daniel Okungbowa, has sworn in the new Deputy Governor of the state, Omobayo Godwins.
Godwins was sworn in at about 1;40 pomp on Monday.
Governor Godwin Obaseki appointed Godwins deputy governor following the impeachment of Comrade Philip Shaibu on Monday.
Both the impeachment of Shaibu, his replacement with Godwins as well as the inauguration of the new deputy governor happened in quick succession all on Monday in Benin City the capital of the state.
Obama’s inauguration was held at the Edo State Government House in Benin City.
