Former Head of State General Sani Abacha’s immediate younger sister, Hajia Fatima (Fanta) Garba Muhammad, is dead.
She died in Kano at 75.
She is the mother of Senator Bashir Muhammad Lado, a federal commissioner at the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
President Muhammadu Buhari in a statement by his spokesperson Malam Garba Shehu has condoled with Abachas and the people of Kano state over the death.
President Buhari prayed that Allah will console all those who mourn and grant Hajiya Fanta Aljannatul Firdaus.
