President Bola Tinubu is to attend the burial ceremony of 18 army personnel killed in Okuama Community in Delta State.
Army spokesperson, Maj.-Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu who announced this in a statement on Tuesday, March 26 said the burial will take place on Wednesday, march 27, 2024.
Nwachukwu said the remains of the slain soldiers would be laid to rest at about 3 pm at the National Cemetery, Abuja.
The 17 soldiers were killed on March 14 in an ambush by a suspected militia group.
