An accident along Zaria-Kano expressway has claimed the lives of a drivers and 11 passengers.
Twenty others were wounded in the crash which involved an articulated vehicle with the registration number KTG 454 ZZ.
The accident happened at Tashar Yari Village at about 7.36 am on Monday, said the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC). Kaduna State command.
The FRSC said the accident was due to overtaking, speeding and overloading.
Those wounded were taken to Makarfi General Hospital for treatment as the owner owner of the vehicle who is in Azare, Bauchi State, was asked to report to RS1.1 Kaduna Sector Command.
The Kaduna FRSC Sector Commander, Kabir Y Nadabo appealed to motorists to cautious in driving particularly on highways.
