The Federal government will inject N1 billion into the Kwara state economy under its Special Public Works (SPW) Programme in the next three months.
Chairman of the Kwara State Selection Committee of the Federal Government’s Special Public Works (SPW) Programme, Oluwasegun Oyewo said this on Friday in Ilorin during the inauguration of the Special Public Works programme.
He said about 16, 000 residents of the state would benefit from the programme, adding that each beneficiary would collect N20,000 as monthly allowances for the programme.
