The police in Kano says it has arrested a 27-year-old suspected kidnapper, Abubakar Burumburum, found in possession of two AK-47 rifles.
Police spokesperson, Abdullahi Haruna, the suspect was apprehended following a tip-off, and was currently undergoing interrogation.
Haruna sais the suspect, alias Likita in the Birnin Gwari area, mostly carried out his activities in Kaduna, Kano and other parts of the northern states.
