Grace Nwokocha has qualified for the women’s 100m event for the Tokyo Olympic Games.
Nwokocha beat the 11.15secs qualifying time set by the World Athletics at the 3rd Making of Champion (MOC) Grand Prix.
The event was held at the Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) in Lagos.
The Nigerian sprinter joins Ruth Usoro and Favour Ofili who had already picked their tickets this year in the United States.
Nwokocha stormed to a World Lead (WL), MR and PB of 11.09s, in a run that saw her meeting the qualification time for the Olympics.
