The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) says it recovers over N521 million and 400 plots of land from questionable individuals across the state.
The executive chairman of the commission, Muhuyi Rimingado, said this at a press conference on Wednesday.
He said the land had been returned to the rightful owners.
Rimingado said: “We are able to recover and return to the rightful owners over 400 plots of land of different densities across the state.
“We have also settled more than 60 cases of sensitive security cases involving farmers and herders mostly on encroachment of cattle routes.
“Many people were charged to court and lingering crises were averted, especially in Dambatta, Bagwai and Tudun Wada local governments.”
