There was jubilation, fanfare and chanting of “Allahu Akbar” — Allah is the greatest at the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) headquarters on Wednesday when the new chairman and CEO Jalal Ahmad Arabi resumed. He was received by jubilant staff and well wishers. Former NAHCON Chairman Abdullahi Mukhtar Muhammad was among the top dignitaries that accompanied Mr Arabi. Mr Zikirullah Kunle Hassan, who was sacked by President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday, was visibly absent.
