An Islamic cleric, Sheikh Abubakar Giro Argungu, is dead.
He died on Wednesday in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, after a brief illness.
His death was announced on his official page on Wednesday.
The deceased was a preacher under the Jama’atul Izalatul Bidi’a Wa’iqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS).
The deceased, who was aged 71 died on Wednesday at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Birnin Kebbi.
He is survived by four wives, many children and grand children.
His funeral prayer is scheduled to hold at Argungu town on Thursday.
