Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi has appointed six Permanent Secretaries and approved the redeployment of three others.
The state’s Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali, who announced this listed the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries and their postings to include Musa Muhammad Yalleman, posted to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology; Muhammad Mahmoud Dawaki, posted to Ministry of Special Duties; and Abdul Ibrahim, posted to the Deputy Governor’s office.
Others are: Isyaku Shehu, Ministry of Basic Education; Ibrahim Adamu, Ministry of Commerce; and Dr. Abdullahi Umar Namadi was posted to the Ministry of Environment.
Ali said those redeployed are Muhammad Bello Dutse, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, who was moved to the Civil Service Commission; Abba Mustapha Yola, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, who was redeployed to REPA; while Musa Ibrahim Adaha, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Environment, who was moved to Ministry of Information, Youth, Sports and Culture.
The statement said handing and taking over should be with immediate effect.
In another development, the governor has continued his consultation with federal agencies in his effort to transform Jigawa state by visiting the Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NNRA) to seek their collaboration.
The Governor’s SA Photography and Publication Muhammad Salisu stated this in a statement.
Salisu said Governor Namadi’s tours were meant to seek collaboration with federal agencies towards developing the state.
The Director-General Director of the agency, Dr. Ya’u Usman Idris assured the governor that the NNRA will collaborate with his administration in developing Jigawa state.
