Kaduna State House of Assembly is to commence screening and confirmation of the 14 commissioner-nominees on Tuesday.
It stated this in its Order Paper Number 1 obtained by 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE.
Those to be screened are the former Speaker of the House of Assembly, four women and nine men. They are Umma Kaltume Ahmed, Mukhtar Ahmed, Arch (Dr.) Ibrahim Hamza, Sule Shu’aibu, Auwal Musa Shugaba, Shizzer Nasara Joy Bada and Prof. Muhammad Sani Bello.
The others are Salisu Rabi Hajia, Prof Benjamin Kumal Gugong, Patience Fakal, Abubakar Buba, Saddiq Mamman Lagos, Murtala Mohammad Dabo and Abdullahi Aminu Shagali.
Meanwhile, Governor Uba Sani made fresh appointments on Tuesday.
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kaduna State, Muhammad Lawal Shehu, who posted this on his Facebook page gave the names of those appointed to include Mohammad Sada Jalal , Director General, Kaduna Geographic Information Service (KADGIS); Jerry Adams, acting Executive Chairman, Kaduna Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS), Adamu Magaji, Director General, Kaduna State Facility Management Agency (KADFAMA) and Adamu Samaila as Special Adviser, Labour Matters.
Others are Amina Sani Bello appointed as Senior Special Assistant, Student Matters; Salisu Ibrahim Garba, Senior Special Assistant, Political Matters; Larai Sylvia Ishaku, Senior Special Assistant, Social Investment Programme; Clement Shekogaza Wasah, Senior Special Assistant, Community Engagement; and Waziri Garba, Senior Special Assistant, Administration.
Shehu said “the appointments were based on the proven track records of the appointees, their commitment to the service of Kaduna State and the SUSTAIN Agenda of the current administration. They are also people of proven integrity.discharge of their assignments,” the statement said,
All the appointments are with immediate effect.
