Gunmen have killed four naval officers and three policemen in different locations in Anambra State.
It was learnt that the hoodlums killed three policemen and set their vehicle ablaze at Neni junction in Anaocha local government area of the state. While the four naval officers were killed at Awkuzu in Oyi local government area.
A security source said the gunmen rampaged Awkuzu Junction and killed the naval officers on duty and carted away with their firearms.
He said four naval officers were on duty at the junction when the hoodlums attacked them around 2 pm Thursday.
Spokesperson of Anambra Police Command, Tochukwu Ikenganyia, confirmed the incident, but said he was still making contacts to get details before I would issue a statement on the matter before long.
