Thunder kills three family members in Benue Thunder has killed three members of a family following a heavy rainfall in Agasha, Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.
Agasha is a farming community in Guma Local Government Area, and shares boundary with Asukunya, in Tarka Local Government Area of Benue state.
The victims were returning from their farmland when they were struck by the natural disaster
A local of the community Paul Unande, identified two girls and a six-year-old-boy to be the victims, adding that they were in the farm when the rain started and they decided to return home in the rain, thunder lightning struck and killed three of them while in transit.
The victims’ remains were recovered and have since been deposited at the mortuary.
The state Police was yet to react to the development as at press time.
