The newly reinstated chairman of Kano State Anti-Corruption Commission, Muhyi Magaji Rimin Gado, has revealed that hsi agency will investigate those behind the alleged illegal allocation of the plots of land being demolished across the state.
The anti-graft boss disclosed this when he appeared on Trust TV morning show Thursday morning. According to him, while the demolition goes on, his commission will carry out investigations on the land acquisition for justification or otherwise.
Though Muhyi declined to comment whether the demolition is politically inclined, he said every issue in governance has a political perspective.
It could also be recalled that Muhyi had also promised to reopen the dollar video case involving the former Kano state governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, had filed a suit in March 2023 and served EFCC on June 5, asking the Federal High Court to grant him perceptual injunction against the commission from probing him on the dollar videos.
