Harry Maguire may quit Manchester United this summer, according to Erik ten Hag, if the defender decides he is dissatisfied with his lack of playing time.

Ten Hag has constantly lauded the 30-year-old’s effect at Old Trafford, even when he has spent extended periods of time away from the club. The defender arrived in 2018 from Leicester for £80 million, a record cost for a defender, and is under contract until 2025.
In the former Ajax manager’s debut season, Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane have been the primary central-defensive pairing, with Luke Shaw coming in occasionally, as the team picked up 17 top-flight clean sheets, the most of any team in the division.
