Ten suspected criminals have been arrested by the Police in Bauchi for various crimes and in the state.
The state police spokesperson, SP Ahmed Wakil, said those arrested allegedly committed rape and thuggery.
Wakili said five suspects were arrested for alleged rape and five others for alleged thuggery and conspiracy within the Bauchi metropolis, Dambam, Toro and Itas-Gadau Local Government Areas (LGAs).
“Investigation is ongoing, and efforts are being intensified to apprehend other accomplices.
“The suspects will be charged to court for prosecution on completion of the investigation,” he said.
