The petitions against the election of President-elect Ahmed Bola Tinubu by Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and All Peoples Movement (APM) have been merged into one by the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) on Tuesday.
This is contained in the report the PEPC gave from the pre-hearing report on three different petitions seeking to nullify the outcome of the 2023 presidential election.
The court, at its resumed hearing, also presented the trial schedule.
The chairman of the five-man panel of the court, Justice Haruna Tsammani, presented the report which declared that the court has decided to consolidate all the petitions to be heard as one.
Tsammani also announced that the hearing of the petition would commence on May 30, 2023.
He said the court shall thereafter prepare for judgement after the adoption of written addresses on August 5, 2023.
Tsammmani declared this when the petition of the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi was called.
