City sealed the deal in spectacular fashion by defeating Chelsea 1-0 for their 12th straight league victory after Arsenal’s defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday made it clear that they could not be overcome. Kyle Walker, a defender, said to Sky Sports: “Of course, every single one is a very important occasion.
“I think coming back with just requiring a win out of one of the three games is great. I think we weren’t at the top of the league for as long as we were.
“This collection of guys is unmatched. They are professionals and winners, and I believe that is how we succeed most of the time.But our work isn’t done yet. We play in the FA Cup against Manchester United, a team we loathe, and then play in the Champions League final. On June 3, City will compete against United in the FA Cup final. A week later, City will play Inter Milan in their quest for their first Champions League victory.
