Terrorists have slaughtered nine farmers and kidnapped three others in Kaduna state.
The incident happened at Unguwar Danko near Dogon Dawa village in Birnin Gwari Area of Kaduna State.
The farmers were killed while they were working on their farms on Saturday afternoon, it was learned.
The tragedy was confirmed by a State House of Assembly member-elect representing Kakangi Constituency, Yahaya Musa, in Sunday.
He said all those killed were farmers and that those who sustained gunshot injuries were rushed to hospitals for treatment.
“Yes, it was confirmed to me this Sunday morning that nine farmers were killed by bandits at Unguwar Danko near Dogon Dawa village on Saturday afternoon, and others sustained gunshot injuries,” he said.
There was no immediate comments from te Kaduna State Government, and the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Mohammed Jalige.
