Participants at the National Defence College Course 31 have embarked on Geo-Strategic World Tour to 20 countries as part of the college’s course curriculum.
Some would tour Venezuela, Zambia, Spain, Botswana, Cuba, Zimbabwe, South Korea, Zambia, Argentina and Niger.
Other would go to Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, Bulgaria, Senegal, Singapore, Tanzania, Seychelles, Vietnam and Burundi.
The college’s spokesperson, Navy Capt. Chinwe Umar, stated on Tuesday in Abuja that the tour began on April 21 and would end on May 7.
She explained that the tours aimed at exposing participants to the socio-economic and political environments of the countries to be visited so they could draw lessons for Nigeria.
Umar added that the participants were led by the Commandant of the college, Rear Adm. Murtala Bashir.
