A car crash along Kudenda, Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State has killed three police officers.
The policemen were travelling from Zaria after attending the Eid-el-Fitri Hawan Dauche celebration and returning to Giwa LGA.
The accident took place around 9 pm on Sunday when one of the tyres of a police vehicle was said to have burst in Sako village, Kudenda ward, resulting in the death of the three officers.
Three others were injured and rushed to a hospital for medical attention.
Gory pictures obtained by our correspondent show the officers in a pool of blood with some suffering severe head injuries.
The State Police spokesperson, DSP Mohammed Jalige, prayed for the deceased officers while wishing the injured quick recovery.
