Governor Rotini Akeredolu of Ondo State has proceeded on a 15-working day annual leave.
The annual vacation is the first installment of his 2023 annual leave.
A statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Richard Olatunde, on Monday, said the governor has formally informed the state House of Assembly in that regard.
The statement said the leave will begin from Monday, April 3rd to Tuesday, April 25, 2023.
“While Governor Akeredolu is away on vacation, the Deputy Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa will perform the functions of the office of the Governor. The governor will resume duties on Wednesday, 26th April, 2023.”
