At least 15 civilians were killed in a latest attack by bandits in Taraba State.
The spokesperson for the Taraba State Police Command, SP Usman Abdullahi, has confirmed the attack without giving further details.
The attack was launched by bandits numbering about 60 at Garin Baka village in Ardo-Kola Local Government Area of the state.
Witnesses said the gunmen came into the village around 7.30pm on Friday and fire gunshots into different directions.
The assailants looted shops, warehouses and residences, while setting some of them on fire.
The bandits took away food items, cows, among others.
