Nigeria has recorded 9,630 cases of coronavirus infection across the country within one week.
The country has recorded over a thousand cases each day, since the past one week, indicating that the virus is spreading day-by-day with dare consequence on the nation’s health system.
Statistics from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) have shown that on Thursday last week, the country recorded 1,544 cases, while on Friday it increased to 1,585 cases.
There was a slight drop in the number of cases recorded on Sunday with 1,024. On Monday this week the number of cases increased to 1,244 cases, on Tuesday to 1,270, and on Wednesday 1,398 cases.
