The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu, has lost his polling unit in the ongoing governorship election to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s governorship candidate, Davematics Ombugadu.
At the Agwan Rrimi Ward, Ec 20 Polling Unit where he he voted for APC’s Governor Abdullahi Sule, Mr Ombugadu received 159 votes against Gov Sule’s 129.
This would be the second time Senator Adamu would be losing his polling unit to the opposition party.
It would be recalled that he lost his ward and local government to the Labour Party’s Peter Obi in the Presidential election of February 25.
