A bounty of Ni million has been placed on the member representing Bauchi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Yakubu Shehu.
A gazette by the Police in Bauchi State which announced this, said the reward is for anyone with useful information that could lead to his arrest.
This is contained in the Special Police The Gazette Bulletin with reference number: CB: 2685/Bsx/VOL.T/4s with the caption: “Wanted”, said the 45-year-old lawmaker is wanted for criminal conspiracy, causing grievous hurt, disturbance of public peace and culpable homicide.
The bulletin contains the picture and address of the lawmaker on it.
The gazette was from the State Criminal Investigation Department of the Bauchi State Police Command issued by the Authority of the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba.
Bauchi State police Spokesperson, SP Ahmed Wakil, the Rep has gone into hiding and is wanted by the police.
