A Kano State Sharia Court sitting in Filin Hoki, Kano, has sentenced a popular Tiktoker, Murja Ibrahim Kunya, to three weeks sweeping of Murtala Muhammed Specialist Hospital premises.
Murja was found guilty of committing offenses contrary to Islamic teachings and threatening people on Tiktok.
The court also ordered Murja to do and post a video for two days asking for public pardon on what she did
Similarly, the court has also sentenced 3 others Ashiru Mai Wushirya, Aminu Ibrahim BBC and Sadik Sharif Umar to three weeks sweeping of Murtala Friday mosque
It can be recalled that the tiktoker Murja appeared before the court presided over by Abdullahi Halliru over two count charges bordering on threatening to attack some people and releasing inciting videos that goes contrary to the norms and teachings of Islam, and may lead others astray.
Based on a complaint filed by the Kano state Council if Ulama, the Tiktoker was arrested by the police in a hotel where she went to book rooms for her guest who were in Kano to attend her birthday party.
