The presidential candidate of the the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu has won the presidential election in Benue state.
Mr Tinubu got 310,468 votes, followed by Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) who secured 308,372 votes.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s Atiku Abubakar got 130,081 votes, and New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) garnered 4,740 votes.
This was revealed by Mr Faruk Kuta, the INEC returning officer on Monday.
Mr Obi won 15 LGs including Guma, where Samuel Ortom, governor of Benue, hails from, while Tinubu secured eight LGs.
