Senator Barau Jibrin of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has been re-elected as senator Kano North Senatorial district.
Mr Jibrin was declared winter by the INEC returning officer for the district, Professor Tijjani Magaji Bamanga.
The APC candidate scored 234, 652 votes, against the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Dr. Baffa Bichi, who garnered 177, 014 votes.
