The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has defeated other presidential candidates at the polling unit of the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, stationed at Kofar Kwaru Islamiyya.
Kwankwaso gnarled 99 votes while Bola Tinubu got 39 votes and Atiku Abubakar got 32 votes while Peter Obi scored, one vote and APGA two votes.
Other results showed that candidates in the senatorial contest scored as follows: APC 53, NNPP 102 and PDP 15 while for Reps, the ADC had 4, APC 46, NNPP 99 and PDP 24.
